Peterson Park is known for its amazing boardwalk over Lake John. The boardwalk is a nice shady walk that takes you uphill to a lakeview overlook. There is also a beautiful trail that is surrounded by water on both sides. To access this trail, you must cross a small bridge. Great place to spot Herons and other wild birds. The park also has a nice playground and baseball fields.
